Sapa 3 Days Trek & 2 Nights Homestay – Authentic Hmong Experience A deep trekking journey through remote villages, dramatic rice terraces, waterfalls, and true local life in Muong Hoa Valley. Stay 2 nights with a Black Hmong family and explore the most beautiful trekking routes around Sapa. ... DAY 1: Sapa – Sa Seng – Hang Da – Hau Thao (10–15km | ~6 hours) 09:00 – I or my sisters will meet you at your hotel in Sapa or in front of Sapa Stone Church. After a short introduction, we start with a 1km uphill walk on a small trail toward Dragon Mountain viewpoint. From here, you will enjoy spectacular views of: ✔️ Fansipan Mountain (3,143m) – the highest peak in Indochina ✔️ Panoramic Sapa town ✔️ Muong Hoa Valley with its most famous rice terraces We then continue downhill along mountain trails to Hang Da Village, home of the Black Hmong people. Along the way, you may see buffaloes, cows, pigs, and other animals roaming freely. 12:00 – Lunch at a small local restaurant run by a Hmong family. After lunch, we trek further down to Hau Thao Village. Here you will observe daily local life and, depending on the season, see villagers planting or harvesting rice. You will be warmly welcomed by my family and stay 2 nights at our homestay ☺️ Free time to rest, take a hot shower, and enjoy a traditional family dinner. --- DAY 2: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Ta Van (9–11km | ~5.5 hours) After a homemade breakfast, we begin the second day trek. We walk downhill from the homestay through Hau Thao to Su Pan Village, a quiet Black Hmong area with stunning panoramic rice field views. The trail then climbs uphill into the mountains toward the beautiful Giang Ta Chai Waterfall. Entering the Red Dao area, your local guide will explain in detail their culture, customs, and daily life. After visiting a Red Dao family, we return via an alternative trail, crossing a second hanging bridge. 12:30 – Lunch at a small local restaurant in Giang Ta Chai village. In the afternoon, we trek back to Ta Van Village and stay again with my family ☺️ Evening free to relax and enjoy another cozy family dinner. --- DAY 3: Ta Van – Lao Chai – Y Linh Ho – Sapa (9–13km | ~5.5 hours) After breakfast, we start the final trekking day toward Lao Chai and Y Linh Ho. We cross the hanging bridge over Muong Hoa River and continue uphill into the mountains. From the high viewpoints, admire: ✔️ Some of the biggest and most beautiful rice terraces in Vietnam ✔️ Majestic views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range 15:00 – 15:30 – Trek ends, return to Sapa town. End of an unforgettable trekking adventure. Big luggage: Your main bags will be transported by us to the homestay, so you only need to carry a small daypack during the trek.
