Cap off your morning with a scenic bamboo raft trip along Cham Stream complete with an authentic local lunch on board. Visit a traditional Thai stilt house, where you’ll learn about the full silk-making process — from cocoon to finished textile — and even try weaving yourself. Continue to Chieng Lau Village to observe local farming practices and see traditional bamboo waterwheels in operation. 10:00 | Trek to Cham Stream Start a scenic 1-2 km trek from Chieng Lau to Cham Stream. Along the way, stop at a local home to experience authentic hospitality and gain deeper insight into daily life. 10:45 | Bamboo rafting & lunch Arrive at Cham Stream and board a bamboo raft for a relaxing journey downstream. Drift past lush forests, rice fields, and peaceful villages from a unique perspective. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch served on the raft. During warm weather, you may also have the opportunity to swim in the clear stream. (Please bring a swimsuit and towel.) The tour guides spoke very well English and provided information throughout the day and at each stop. Besides they were very friendly, caring and funny. Also the bus ride was very good.
