During the tour, your guide will lead you around the surroundings of the Ancient City, highlighting important architectural features, gates, gardens and sites connected to the Nguyen Emperors. You will learn how the imperial city was designed, how it functioned, and why it played such a central role in Vietnam's history. The tour also provides insight into the daily life of the royal family and the people of Hue during the Nguyen Dynasty. The tour guides spoke very well English and provided information throughout the day and at each stop. Besides they were very friendly, caring and funny. Also the bus ride was very good.
