From Hanoi: 2-Day Lao Than Peak Trekking & Y Ty Cloud Hunting Overview & Highlights Embark on an unforgettable adventure to conquer Lao Than Peak (2,860m) in Y Tý. Trek through stunning terraced rice fields and mountain trails, hunt for magical seas of clouds, and witness breathtaking sunsets from a cozy mountain hut. Celebrate your summit success with a relaxing herbal bath and a delicious sturgeon hotpot in Sapa! ... --------------------------------------- Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Y Ty – Mountain Hut Trek (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Your adventure begins the night before with a comfortable overnight sleeper bus ride from Hanoi to Sapa. In the morning, arrive in Sapa to freshen up and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Take a scenic transfer vehicle to the mountain base at Phin Ho Kindergarten in Y Ty. After a comprehensive safety briefing and gear check from your expert guide, start your trekking journey. Hike along winding trails through lush low-land forests, winding hillsides, and stunning terraced rice fields. Stop along the trail for a picnic lunch in nature. Continue ascending through changing vegetation until you reach the wooden mountain hut by late afternoon. Settle in and witness a spectacular sunset over the "Roof of Y Ty." Enjoy a cozy dinner hosted by the local Hmong community, complete with local apple wine and stories of the highlands. --------------------------------------- Day 2: Summit Push – Lao Than Peak – Sapa – Hanoi (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Wake up early before dawn to catch the magnificent sunrise breaking over a sea of clouds. Fuel up with breakfast before kicking off the final steep push to the summit. At 07:00, touch the landmark at the summit of Lao Than Peak (2,860m). Take your time to soak in the 360-degree views, hunt for clouds, and snap unforgettable photos. Trek back down to the hut to pack your belongings, then head down the mountain to meet the local transport. Return to Sapa for a well-deserved traditional herbal hot bath to stimulate circulation and relax sore muscles. Celebrate your achievement with a delicious sturgeon hotpot dinner at a local restaurant. Afterward, enjoy some free time to explore Sapa’s vibrant night market before boarding the sleeper bus back to Hanoi, arriving early the next morning. End of the program.
