Cao Bang – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Ba Be Lake Discovery Overview & Highlights Explore the stunning Cao Bang Global Geopark, majestic Ban Gioc Waterfall, historic Pac Bo Cave, and the serene beauty of Ba Be Lake with flexible departure options tailored to your schedule. There are 3 options with different departure times: • Opt 1: 3 days 2 nights Tour – Departure from 5:45 AM • Opt 2: 3 days 2 nights Tour – Departure from 12:00 PM • Opt 3: 2 days 2 nights (1 night on the sleeper bus) – Departure from 9:00 PM ... --------------------------------------- DETAILED ITINERARY Opt 1: Hanoi - Pac Bo Cave/Cao Bang Global Geo-Park, Ban Gioc Waterfall, Angel Mountain, Ba Be Lake Day 1: Hanoi – Pac Bo Cave/Cao Bang Global Geo-Park – Local Homestay Begin your journey with pickup from your hotel in Hanoi by a local 9-seat limousine van. Travel through the scenic northern countryside, passing rice fields, traditional villages, and dramatic limestone mountains. (Note: The driver is not able to speak English, but you can ask the tour operator for assistance if you need any information during the trip from Hanoi to Cao Bang). Upon arrival in Cao Bang, meet your local English-speaking guide and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or homestay. In the afternoon, depending on your preferences and interests, our tour guide can take you traveling around Cao Bang city to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the mountain area. Highlights include: Nung Chi Cao Temple, De Dong Temple, Boc Cave, and Stone Garden. If you like Vietnam history, we can take you to Pac Bo Cave, the place Ho Chi Minh used to live and work during the first period of the revolution from 1941 - 1945. You will learn more about Ho Chi Minh's life and get a real feeling for the difficulties He went through to gain independence for Vietnam. Day 2: Handicraft Village - Tiger Cave - Truc Lam Pagoda - Ban Gioc Waterfall - Angel Mountain After breakfast, start exploring the wonderland of the Cao Bang Global Geopark. You have a full day to explore this amazing land with your local tour guide and driver. Explore Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Take time to admire the cascading water, limestone cliffs, and peaceful surroundings. Visit Truc Lam Ban Gioc Pagoda for panoramic views over the waterfall and surrounding landscape. Day 3: Ba Be Lake – Boat Trip – Return to Hanoi After breakfast, take a 3-hour drive to Ba Be Lake, one of the largest natural freshwater lakes in Vietnam, surrounded by limestone mountains and lush forest. Choose between: • A scenic boat trip (optional, not included), or • A trekking experience through Ba Be National Park After the activity, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Your guide will assist you with your departure as you travel back to Hanoi by local bus. Estimated arrival in Hanoi: Between 20:00 – 21:00. --------------------------------------- Opt 2: Hanoi - Ban Gioc Waterfall, Angel Mountain, Ba Be Lake Day 1: Depart at 12:00 noon from the meeting point. 7:30 PM: Meet our tour guide in Cao Bang, check in to the homestay, and then have dinner. (Day 2 and Day 3 are the same as Option 1). --------------------------------------- Opt 3: Hanoi - Ban Gioc Waterfall, Angel Mountain, Ba Be Lake Night 1: Meet us at My Dinh Bus Station at 9:00 PM, take an overnight bus to reach Cao Bang in the early morning. Day 1: Start the tour from 7:00 AM. (Day 2 and Day 3 are the same as Option 1).
